Instructions for finding a printer:
-
Not sure if you have an Inkjet or Laser printer?
Inkjet printers use liquid ink and Laser
printers use toner powder. As a general rule, an inkjet cartridge will fit in the palm of your
hand; the smallest toner cartridge is the size of a can of spray paint.
-
Very few printers are made without descriptions, however these are listed first "numerically", for example: HP 2000 Professional.
The vast majority of printers have a description to group a series of printers and these are listed
"alphabetically" starting with the description of a printer, for example: Brother "DCP", Canon “PIXMA”, HP “DeskJet”, Epson “Stylus”, etc.
Followed by any possible entry letters then the model number, I.e. 370, F370, D4200, 4700, J5100, etc.
This is necessary because there could be a Canon 4300, a Canon PIXMA 4300, and a Canon PIXMA F4300. These three printer models would probably take different model cartridges.
-
The printer description will always be on the top or the front of your printer, never on the sides.
-
Be aware, the characters before the model number, like the F before 370 are very important and are also listed alphabetically.
Most letters or descriptions after the model number are typically not important, like c, cm, cn, all in one, multi-function, etc.
An example would be: an HP DeskJet 1600c, DeskJet 1600cm, DeskJet 1600cn will all use the same cartridges but an HP DeskJet F1600 would probably use a newer series cartridge.
An exception to the letters afer the model number do not pertain to finding a printer model in our system. Sometimes manufacturers like HP use letters after the model number to
distinguish a higher yield cartridge. For example: "XL" after an HP inkjet model number means "extra large/high-capacity". An X after an HP toner model means "high-yield".
-
Once you find your printer, we will list all the cartridge models and possible packages we have available.
If a high-capacity (inkjets) or a high-yield (toner) cartridge is available,
this will be listed as well. The main difference in these cartridges versus the standard is they will typically print a minimum of twice the number of pages of a standard capacity cartridge,
this can be more depending on the model of the cartridge. We fill all cartridges to the Manufacturers ink or toner level.
We will list the approximate page yield for toner, see the manufacturers website for page yield on inkjet cartridges. Whether the cartridge is physically larger is not important,
if we have the HC or HY available for your specific printer the most important thing is, IT IS MADE TO FIT your printer model.
-
If you see a message after selecting your printer, “No Products found”.
We either do not have your printer connected to the cartridges or the cartridge series may too new for us to have a compatible-fully remanufactured version available yet.
If you know your cartridge model numbers, please check our “Browse by Cartridge” option.
